Pyle Audio's stylish, in-dash PLTVD7IN entertainment system features a dynamic, 7-inch, widescreen LCD that's invisible when off but flips up on a motorized arm when it's time to watch TV (VHF/UHF) or play a DVD. The unit's integrated tuner and amplifier delivers 18 full-range watts per channel x 4 (into 4-ohm speakers) and features convenient RCA jacks for easy hook-up to external audio and/or video sources.
The progressive-scan display offers a detailed, 1440 x 234-pixel resolution and Pyle's NTSC/PAL Diversity TV tuner system. It spins not just DVD-Video discs, but CDs and recordable CDs, too, including discs filled with MP3 music files. Load an MP3 CD and drive for hours without musical interruption. Onboard CD changer control makes it a cinch to manage your trunk-bound CD collection (controls the Pyle PLDVCH6 and Lanzar SVCH6D CD changers).
Connections include an optical digital-audio output for connecting a 5.1-channel Decoder (sold separately) and 1 AV output (composite-video, stereo analog RCA audio) for use with a rear monitor. There are 2 AV inputs, one of which may be used for a CD changer. A dedicated rear-view camera input (with rear-view-camera angle control) gives you extra assistance when parking or simply monitoring traffic.
Additional features include tone controls (treble and bass) 4-channel preamplifier line outputs for use with higher-power amplifiers or a Dolby/DTS surround system, preset channel scan, best-station memory, and an auto dimmer. The unit comes with a remote control. Note: The monitor only displays a video image when the vehicle's parking brake is engaged. You may listen to any audio while driving, however.
